Just meant in a buying young talent to improve them as players and the club at the same time, with a view to selling for a profit to aid the long term sustainability of the club sort of way.

Those sales also help recruit better young players as the clubs improve.

I'd expect his first appearance to be as sub or 60 minutes but he can't just tag along with the first team like a sixteen year old getting the feel of first team football.
