Just found it online. Actually called Master Olof’s Garden. Definitely a house of ill repute by the looks of it <laugh> <whistle>

Why not just sign it now at the medical if everything is agreed? Why give time for the hijack?
Better still, why not sign the contract now with “subject to successful medical results”, let’s face it we love a clause in a contract <whistle>

Because that sounds too sensible and straightforward for a Leeds United signing.

    Must complicate….must complicate….

Because under FIFA regulations, you can't include clauses such as subject to medical or subject to work permit within the terms of a contract to a player, only when making a pre contract agreement, as judged in the FIFA case heard before CAS of Beijing Renhe FC v Marcin Robak. (Unless a more recent decision I'm not aware of, has overturned it)

You can make an offer to a player subject to various terms, but if both parties sign the contract prior to all necessary checks being completed then it's a case "caveat emptor", let the buyer beware.

Are we allowed to sign him as soon as he passes the medical, joking aside my main point was why wait and end up with another Max Aaron situation on our hands.

Once Swansea send the paperwork through then yes. Dan James passed his medical with us, but couldn't sign as we were still awaiting on Swansea and we all know how that turned out.

Well he’s done the right thing… eventually. I’m a forgive and forget kind of guy - to a point. If he’s brave enough to play… and he busts a gut for the shirt then I’ll forgive… suspect the first goal that he scores and most will do the same.

He really didn't have a choice did he. His contract gave him no options. we held firm and controlled his tantrums and the situation. as Farke said we were in control and were not getting blackmailed into selling for a lower fee. for Willy it was either bite his own bullet and grovel back and apologise or rot in the u21's and be the footballer who refused to play. It's going to take a big ask to get some fans back on side. Look I understand him wanting to keep up with the first team in the Italian side as he will have a lesser chance playing in that team being in the the championship 100% understand that. what I don't like is he refused to play in which is telling us basically he doesn't give a flying fcuk about this club. you can still want out but you do it a different way you don't refuse to play for the club who believed in you it's unforgivable. I'm not having all this bad advisory bullshyte he's a grown man he knows right from wrong. If he wanted out and continued to play I could accept that but downing tools trying to force his hand has massively backfired on him. one because no club apart from Everton want him who tried to get him on the cheap. Willy and his agent were probably expecting a bidding war from loads of clubs when he threw the towel in but hasn't materialised and he now has nowhere to go it's all backtracking now for him as he's up shyte creek without a paddle.
