Sounds Like we are going to give it go against City

I'm not going to be disappointed if we lose, as that's expected, but I think I will be if we lose by more than 2 goals.

I think a 0-3 loss, I think we will go defensive and get beat. I also think their wingers will tear Raylor and Simpson apart. Just hope we give it a good effort and atleast try and play football. In a way I wish we had Obertan back as his pace would scare them on the attack.

 

Think that we should play as we use to play and not try to impress anyone out there ... We shouldn't try to dribble when we can pass or be afraid of playing a long ball etc etc... Even if we beat City, we'll still have the "lucky" tag stuck on our forehead .. So we should just play it simple and defend as we know we can defend ...

 

Having a go etc is overrated. Just stick to the plan that has seen us unbeaten for 11 games. the key with City is to look after the bll once you get it, something we do quite well. They play very techincal possession football, and look to pull you around to find gaps. Once they get one it can be avalanche as the tiredness you have from running all over the shop all of a sudden creeps up. They then stretch you at will, particularly as they bring fresh world class talent off the bench. Its not a complicated system or formula but it works. Their is fair bit of counter attack football built into our possession style, and I think we will give them a problem or two.

I do think we need to start quickly though, and get on their touch wherever possible.

A boring stat for you all, is that we have drawn all of our games immediately after the International break.
If you include the opening game against Arsenal (which I believe was hot on the heels of the England v Holland game that never happened), that makes 3 games drawn so far, following Internationals:

Aresenal (h) 0-0
QPR (a) 0-0
Spurs (h) 2-2

So, according to that sequence/logic, the next one (City away) should finish 2-2.
