I'm just glad Pace and his daughter now look extremely stupid after that TikTok post a few weeks ago.
Would there be any chance of selling him , but the other team loaning him back to us until the Jan transfer window ?
From what the Echo is saying, it sounds like we’re prepared to move one and keep one of the two key 2024 contract expiries (KWP and Adams) and Martin’s preference is to keep KWP and focus on rebuilding the forward line with the Ché money. Just preferences though, of course… depends what happens in these next 10 days or so.
Right you are. Pardon me for my interpretation. In that case, does make sense and makes it easier to put your foot down with KWP more provided he isn’t about to cause a ****storm.
I think my dream FA Cup 3rd round would now be Burnley away, where Tella proceeds to absolutely destroy them.
OK thanks . That’ll teach me for posting a serious question about football . Think I’ll just go back to the “ Are we down yet “ mind set
Ha. Sorry. Didn't mean it to come across that way. Everton need a striker NOW. to play straight away and lead the line with DCL constantly injured. Any other potential PL suitor is likely to feel the same because that's the benefit of going after someone like Che above an unknown from elsewhere. Add to that that his price will likely decrease by 4/5m by January as he will only have 6 months of his contract left and it's a non-starter, unfortunately.
Agree but not sure about the Jan -4/5ths. If he’s still bagging them in with us come Jan, they’ll definitely be a PL relegation suitor willing to pay good £ for him.
No No you didn’t come across in any way that was negative I was aware of Everton’s needs and his contract situation . I just asked a question I probably knew the answer to , and got a perfectly sensible answer back
I know this question hypothetical has been quashed already, but if there was an either or situation between KWP & Adams, then it’s KWP all day long, he is so crucial to how we’re playing. He must carry the ball more than any of our players. To get someone close to his quality would be difficult.
Che is probably better served seeing where we and Everton are respectively in January. Its not beyond the realms of possibility that we swap leagues next season. Might want to avoid getting James Bree-d.
The strugglers this year will likely be boosted by the presence of Sheffield United and Luton. Barring some highly unusual goings on there may well only be one relegation slot open with about 5 or so rubbish enough to fill it
He'd have to play with a Chastity Belt and an Ankle Tag. And he couldn't play in the evenings, due to his curfew restrictions. He'd probably have to report to a local police station at half time on any Saturday match, as well
