Her hand was in a natural position though, but she kind of move toward it. Could have gone either way, I have no idea how they even decide. Personally feel it’s pretty harsh but understand if
Disagree. Barely brushed her hand and didn’t change the movement of the ball at all or stop Spain continuing their attack. Her arm was already out there and in a natural position in order to move as a human being… but saved so justice done imo
Huge from Earps, now her outfield players owe it to her to up their game. But it was a penalty all day long, waving your arm around like that in the penalty area is just naive play not befitting the standard of a World Cup final imo.
Doesn't matter if it just brushed the hand, it hit it and it was outstretched and moved towards the ball.
Why is Bronze shooting there?!? Our passing has been awful this half. Genuinely the worst the lionesses have played in ages
Really though? MOTD had a handball where players arm was in the air and VAR said no pen Also the only decision VAR make is to tell the ref to look at it.l again. And that takes 5 minutes for them to do
I don’t know the intricacies of the law. It’s ****ing stupid if that’s a penalty according to the law. Her arm moved out slightly in order to move to the side to try and block. Can’t play football with your arms straight by your side. It’s natural. The ball was kicking into her hand from point blank range, she wouldn’t have even seen it, and even then barely touched it and didn’t change a thing about Spains attack. **** all she could do about it. Couldn’t care less if you says it’s a pen. To me that should never be a pen.
