I tend to keep away from public houses where punters ask for the racing to be turned off...:emoticon-0136-giggl

The second goal was Tufan? What the hell was he doing back there? I thought it must have been Jones or Coyle from that position. Bloody good pass though, like Seri’s for the first, but my credit has to go to Connolly for finishing both!

Don’t get the people saying we played bad or were atrocious. Was nothing like Norwich or Doncaster when we looked bereft of ideas. Even before the red card, we dominated, pressed well and the midfield and forward players linked up well too. The biggest problem today was that that final pass, touch or finish was lacking until we went 1 nil down and Seri pushed a bit further forward and put that great ball into Connolly.

    Slater was quiet today though.

Indeed we did. What a great game. We controlled the game I thought. Much the better side before and after the sending off.

You obviously didn’t notice a 10 man Blackburn cut through us at will, nor the numerous times we invited them on by poor passing and low intensity pressing. We got away with it today but tweaks are required either in personnel or tactics if we’re serious about a top six place.

All I’m saying is bloody rubbish again. We should give the 3 points back. And while we are on about it close the MKM down. Oh the shame to support HCFC.

I don’t think we got away with one. We controlled the game.

Based on today Connolly would start ahead of Delap for me.

    We beat Brentford 1-0 with 9 men - 1993ish - night match I recall.

Crumbs...There's some manic depressives on here.....What would have happened if they had gone to 9?..Would we have walked off in sympathy and demanded they be given the three points? We shat on'em.

Me too.I only saw the last 30 minutes but from what I saw we were pinging the ball around with ease in midfield.

Who knows what we're be capable of if we become an aggressive/pressing outfit...Get Delap on the score sheet now and we'd have some confidence going forward...

If they did, why did they have literally 1 shot before they scored?

I'd love LR to move away from the slower cautious approach we seem to have for most of the games. Surly he can see that when we up the pace as we did today and against sheff weds, we look a lot more dangerous
