Connolly Delap Seri. I thought he kept the ball moving well. Dont understand the criticism he got today
Connelly- 2 well taken goals Seri- some nice passes Coyle - excellent Captain again attacking and defending down our right . Delap played well too and Twine had a decent debut . Well done boys Come on City
Connolly Delap Seri Honourable mentions for Coyle, Greaves, Tufan, Twine... pretty much all the rest of them to be fair. Macca couple of shakey moments but not his fault for their goal, it was a good tackle and unfortunate. Ingram with some key moments to keep them out and then a bit baffling in some others. Overall another good performance. That would have been a draw last season.
Seems we're leaving ourselves more open at the back to create more going forward. 7 goals in 3 league games is something that we were begging for last season though and will get us in the playoff picture if we can keep scoring at that rate.
Connolly - best natural striker since a certain K Edwards ( and works harder) Seri - his genius chip unlocked things. Nice to see him getting further forward. Coyle - continues to be a transformed player. Captain fantastic.
Connolly Delap Seri Hopefully Rosie will learn from the middle 60 minutes of this game against 10 men, set up needed changing sooner. Starting to get a bit concerned with Macca & Jones centre back partnership as neither are leaders or decisive enough with the ball at their feet. Play too many passes to each other and slow the game down at the wrong times for us. Thankfully Connolly finishing was top class today. But signs are we will get a lot better with a good group of players
1. Connolly - 2 goals, looked the most dangerous player on the pitch alongside Ennis. 2. Coyle - He’s such a hard worker, gets forward, tackles back, proper Captain. 3. Could be anyone of Greaves, Twine or Jones. Whilst I think Jones was caught for their goal, I think it was him that cleared it off the goal line, that saved us & won the game today.
