While I do get the reasons behind the refs taking a harsher stance on players or managers questioning their decisions, my gripe with the whole thing is that it gives referees even less accountability for s*** performances like this one.
I wanted a nice controlled nothing 2-0. we get chaos. poor start, lack of shape and organisation then dominate, then a red card then a plethora of missed chances. we are ridiculously hard in ourselves. this team has the talent to be better than this. if we scored 10% of the chances and just held better shape we'd be flying.any win will do though it was must win
All in all I was satisfied with our performance. Started badly but eventually got to grips with Bournemouth's high press, and reacted well to the ridiculous red card.
Important win, and let’s be honest I thought after those opening 5 minutes we would **** this right up - but we didn’t. Allison was shocking first half (with his feet) and then outstanding second with some very impressive saves. Shout out to vvd as well, has been getting some stick of late but thought he was excellent today we go again
AMC too, shame he's going to miss three games now but I suppose that will push Legendo into starting #silverlining
First glimpse of him in preseason and you could tell. hard one for endo to drop 8nto but the sooner he's in the better . bloody tough away game next without macallister.
well that was "fun" but after the horrific start at least we stated to play proper football even though we still looked a bit dodgy defensively .Thought Diaz and Szob were top notch today . We need to hope neither Diaz or Gakpo injuries are more than tweaks/knocks so they are available for next week
