It would have taken 7 years to decide on that one with VAR.

Great win against a tidy team
Lots of good performances with a makepiece midfield
    Charles MOTM (19!!!)
Stephens very composed on the ball
    KWP is Prem quality
Baz looks much better with a defence in front of him
Stuey good not his natural position
    Adarma really improved
Edozie starting to get a product from his efforts
    We can score goals!

Not as a winger though. One of the 8s I expect?

I was actually bracing myself to see the flag up. Che was in so much space I thought he had to be off!

Good description. Building this team is looking good and we enjoy days like this especially. Let's keep this positivity even on the not so great days.

Assuming Downes comes in - who starts when everyone is fully fit ? Based on the opening game I’d assume Downes, Smallbone and Alcaraz. But what about Charles then?

And then getting both Armstrong and Adams (or any replacement) in the same side. Since I still don’t think he Armstrong should be the sole central striker

Nice problem to have. As mentioned it would be nice to move one or both of ABK and Lyanco on in order to bring in some other options

Charles grew into the game and was fabulous in the second half.

Adam Armstrong is a better number 8 than JWP.

    Sté Adams. Please.

SAA looks unfazed out there, almost bored about the fact he’s got 3/4 defenders he’s got to run rings round again.

I didn’t watch - did Adam Armstrong play as a number 8 or more of a 10? The radio suggested he got closer to Che in the second half

    Dear Sports Republic,

I was very underwhelmed when you appointed Russell Martin as manager.

    I apologise.

He is galvanising the team in difficult circumstances and has brought a style and identity back to the club.

There will be tough times ahead but RM has my full backing.

Martin said 3 or 4 players who played today are uncertain about their future. Obviously Adams is one, Tella and KWP the others possibly

That is one big **** off 'if' to be sitting on this close to the end of the transfer window.

Potentially 30-40 goals worth of players, plus a first choice full back to replace in just over a week.

Provably Bednarek if I had to guess. Maybe Aribo too.
