I guessed it was the player, I was just hoping it was something else we could investigate the cheats over.
Makes no difference. Your visa is only valid for the company you work for so you’d have to reapply for a new one anyway
I'll take your word for it, but my ex is from NZ, and she had a work permit for the whole EU (@20 years ago). She'd worked in Greece, Germany, and Austria before she came to the UK. I dunno if her visa was different, but I last spoke to her was 3 years ago and she reckons she'd now have to apply for two different visas. She definitely didn't need one for different companies when she was here, as for the 18 months I was with her she worked for five or six different firms, and did casual temping and bar work for several others.
Depends on the type of visa but when ever we’ve had to hire someone for our company both pre and post brexit, if they’re from outside the EU they have to apply for a new visa that we sponsor. Only exception is working on a dependent visa but wouldn’t be applicable to any footballer.
No, she had relatives here, but no dependant. So if I've got this right, would Caeicedo, who's from Ecuador outside the EU, need a new visa for Chelsea as he's moving companies?
Not too sure what visa footballers go on tbh. I think you can generally stay on same visa but you have to request to transfer it over to new company so perhaps less of an issue on assumption you’re staying on same soc code - which for footballers it will be the same.
uk was never in Shengin so players always needed local work permit. it is if anything easier get a permit now
Seems pep never went on a spending spree ever and now Chelsea is the big baddy of spending http://www.skysports.com/share/12942724
Don't think he's ever done £600m in one window or broken two tranfer records in one window. Always happy to be proved wrong though
