I honestly think so, that’s what a forum is about though, debate and differing opinions. How we never had three points against Cardiff and WBA is highly unfortunate
Smith in the YEP rating the players as follows Meslier - 7/10 - Out quickly to deny one good chance, made a sublime save to prevent another. Little else to do, kicking was mostly fine. Ayling - 7/10 - A couple ropey moments in his own half, lots of good moments going forward. Caused a few problems. Took his goal really well. Rodon - 7/10 - A solid performance for the vast majority of the contest. Looks like he's more than happy to have the ball at his feet. Struijk - 8/10 - Played on the front foot, nipped in to win the ball as high as he could, played some nice passes as Leeds played out from the back. Byram - 7/10 - Steady away. Beaten once in the first half down his side but looked comfortable for the most part and did his bit in possession. Unlucky in first half with a chance. Ampadu - 7/10 - Rarely looks troubled. Almost always in the right place. Comfortable on the ball and got stuck in. Gray - 7/10 - Another comfortable display in senior football for the teen. Showed his strength and footwork. Got on the ball plenty of times to keep Leeds ticking. Shackleton - 7/10 - Loads of pressing and defensive work. A few tidy bits of play but unable to offer much in terms of creativity. James - 8/10 - A real menace with his pace and, crucially, something at the end of it. Great assist for Ayling. Glaring miss aside it was a good display. Gelhardt - 6/10 - A couple of nice passes for James. First touch let him and the attacking play down too often. Came close with a fierce drive. Rutter - 6/10 - The effort was there, ran around and wanted the ball but didn't do enough with it. Showed glimpses of skill and aerial ability. Greenwood (sub) - 6/10 - Tried to add urgency and run at West Brom but couldn't find a moment of magic to tip the game Leeds' way. Ref - 5/10 - A little fussy, got a few minor things wrong and then missed a handball for the West Brom goal.
Fair play to Herr Farke from getting a barebone team to get a point. After all the rats(and that is an insult to a rat) have jumped ship. Now it's up to the septics, they talked the talk but now we are bottom of the 9th and it's time to walk the walk. No bullshit about FFP etc, every other club flaunt it. Spend yer ****ing dollars and get us some quality players.
Seems a few watched at home or down the pub. Friday nights are not for me as i would have to take my car. No chance of a beer then which to me is part of the matchday experience.
Best atmosphere for years last night. Not sure but don't think tickets ever went on general sale to Leeds fans.
Unlike wakey trinity who never turned up. I shall stick to watching AFC Wakefield in future much better value and effort.
