Hearing that Bournemouth missed the deadline for triggering the £20m release clause so have agreed to pay £23.5m plus add ons. So we will make around £10m clean profit as Adams didnt play enough or hit bonus targets which means we only paid £14.5m for him. Good

Whilst I thought the same, when I checked only 6 players played more minutes than Adams last season, and even worse, of those 6, only Struijk and Meslier are still at the club. So it looks like we have a team full of ornaments
I see Kinnear has given an interview explaining why loan clauses were given. He seemed surprised that the players used them to get out and he said Harrison really hurt him by going as the club had done loads since the end of last season to make sure he stayed. Marathe the king of contracts must have known details as his authority to buy a player would be required. So 49ers either knew or were lied to. If they were lied to then I’m surprised they are not going after Orta legally
