There's been movement on both sides tbf. But Im hearing it was all done before the injury and now it hinges on the severity
The money isn't there to bring everyone in, but as ST mentioned the other day, there's a very lucrative sponsorship/commercial deal being worked on. Whether or not it's big enough to effect transfer business....I'm not sure
Crazy on both sides that he was allowed to play in that case. Wonder if it also means Liam was there watching someone else
They’d be as well signing me. My prior injuries of snapped ACL, LCL and torn meniscus means I should waltz through a City medical.
It's a reluctant sale from Derby, so no need for them to weaken themselfs until transfer is more formal. They may just even keep him now this has happened so win win for them
Exactly what I was thinking. Normally when a deal is agreed they take them out of the firing line. If Bird has an injury that means us an others pull out of the deal. Derby will lose £1million and we will get him for free next summer. Crazy decision to even run the risk.
Into his last year of his contract though isn’t he? Unlikely to sign a new one if so, they’ll end up paying for his recovery and then losing him for nothing.
Possibly yes, but who's to say if he's injured and all this falls through, he doesn't sign a new contract? The info I have though could also be wrong and it could have been agreed since, but find that a little strange if the extent of the injury isn't known in full
They'll get a fee via tribunal which I dont think will be pittance given he's played for the club 160 times
If Bird really is too crocked to sign then Ozan's pal from Watford (also named after a bird) is a free agent.
Watching Universitario game waiting to see if Celi comes on,they have armed soldiers/police walking around the pitch with machine guns ffs lol.
