We'll see what happens. Think we have potential to do alright in either PL or CL (as in making a fist of it) not both. Saturday was first time in well over a decade that we actually had some really decent options for some positions to come off the bench and effect a game that was actually tactical as opposed to a first teamer being eased back in due to an injury and was so refreshing to see. We were able to bring Wilson on for Isak, Barnes on for Gordon. Now have options with the keeper position with Dubravka and Pope and options at right back with Tripps and Livermento (Hopefully) and once Willock is back fit he'll be an option for Joelinton. We've not had that sort of option since Ashley rocked up. Still well shy of the traditional big 6 but coming along nicely.
Mate ... I'd say you have better depth than Spurs, United and even Liverpool at this point ... more than we ever had tbph ..
A little over a year ago we couldn't field a starting 11 . Spurs could come okay if they sign a few decent players with the Kane money. Thing is everyone in the ****ing world knows what they banked for him and won't make it easy. They then look like they could do with at least 3 defenders. Think United are coming stronger again. God bless the Glazers. Liverpool are the ones to watch - They have same problems as Spurs, in that everyone know's what they need and that their getting desperate. Klopp looks like he's due a full on mental breakdown any time soon. The happy go lucky, funny German bloke has turned into a proper bitter, whinging, hypocritical bastard recently. Pressure's getting to him.
Yeah we need lots of players us, terrible time for the club, major investment needed. I expect 6 or 7 players in this week the squad is thread bare and full of Championship level players. What will we do? #fsgout
There's no chance of that tbf, when they start signing Championship players you may need to worry then.
Heard a rumbling last night that the Saudis have actually made an approach to FSG Liverpool Reds for Mo Salah.
Don't be silly ... Chilwell was, as was Barnes ... but Mahrez was picked up for £450k and Kante for £6.5m ... and sold for a combined £100m ... brilliant recruitment, however you look at it ...
