I’m guessing Somerset’s supporters are spread around for the Hundred in a similar fashion. I am naturally inclined towards the Brave because of geography and the Hampshire connection, but this season my second team is the Trockets because of Gregory and TIC, with the added attraction of Joe Root.

Well done Hants, needed that after the disappointment of losing to Leics. I thought that we might not see Wheal again in a Hampshire shirt, but perhaps he's bowling himself towards a new contract here. I don't actually know how long he's got left on his current deal, but I have to admit that he's made a big difference in the last 2 matches he's played.

 

I think we could do with Albert back, certainly last season he showed great composure in that lower middle order role. We haven't got it right in the last few games with the end of our innings, we've either gone too early and lost wickets or just generally not been in a position to be able to accelerate properly in the last 10 overs. How about dropping Donald down to 6 or even 7, effectively save him for the last 15 overs or so (in theory)?
