Hope not for his sake. He needs a supportive environment and although many here would be, he is exactly the type of player a section of our fans would get on top of.
Alli wouldn't make any sense. Plays the same role as a Tufan/Traore/Twine. We don't need another 10. Don't think I can recall him ever playing on the wing.
Think the Club as it is now is very supportive and Acun and Rosenior could be what Dele needs to be fair if indeed he did come here, but he is supposed to be carrying an injury so not sure it would be him, and although we do have some prats like most clubs this Club has a way of making some feel at home the supporters do show affection to some and considering what he has been carrying mentally i think this club would be a great fit for him One Family and he needs that.
A Dele Ali back to some sort of form would be a massive assett to this club but that is the issue if he could get over the issues enough to want to carry on, he often moved out to the wing during games for spurs but predominantly played a 10 role.
Probably would be quite high but as it seems a good time to bring in the new sponsership coming in so makes things possible.
I did not think we was we was discussing the merits of it, i actually think everton will need him this season.
This and also, he's exactly the opposite of the kind of profile to what Rosenior wants. In his system you have to be fit, work hard, press and buy into a game plan. I'm not sure Alli is any of that. It's a bizarre link.
Depends which Alli you got really, if he wanted to get his career back on track you’d never turn him down. The likelihood of that however, is not worth the risk
I agree it is bizarre but when he was at spurs he was fit he also scored some fantastic goals out of nothing and helped drag spurs to results they may not have got.
The supporters can be affectionate but the ones I'm talking about are only affectionate when you're scoring top corners from outside the box or latching on to loose back passes.
We probably all agree he won't be coming here but he is 27 got good years ahead and is capable in my mind of regaining his form if he is able to settle and have a club that takes care of him some people need an arm around them in this case he is one of those and if he finds somewhere he is happy at then he will hit form again.
Development isn’t linear anymore. He broke through at such a young age, he’d had more career minutes at 21 than some have turning 30. Pressure on young players is higher than ever and he was an unfortunate victim to that (alongside his obvious other struggles). He’d played 88 senior games at 18!
