I genuinely believe there was a part of him that wanted to stay and get us back to the PL. But unfortunately there was a bigger part that wanted to have as a good a chance as possible of going to the Euros next summer. So I don't begrudge him the move at all. Don't get me wrong I wish it wasn't West Ham but he deserves to be playing top flight football. All the best Prowsie.

I've never rated him as highly as some do but you could never fault his professionalism or commitment to the club and he's been a fantastic servant. The free kicks were a hell of a party trick too. Think he's got himself a good move in West Ham too and I hope he does well there.
