Agree with this. Happy enough if he stays, but I also wouldn’t mind Bednarek going at all.

Would be good if we can recoup some money on Mara as well. Hopefully we can con a desperate team into signing him

Anyone Chelsea could chuck in as a sweetener? Harvey Vale? Broja?

If they want Broja to drop down for match fitness then I would think they would pick a less physical league. And that’s “if”. Not sure Vale fits what we need in the squad

    From Monk on SW

    Couple of snippets I've come across (nothing new);

WHU final offer was structured so we received the majority of the fee upfront and favourable terms on the Downes deal.

(they were considering a move for Lukaku at one point)

Saints asked about Ronnie Edwards, P'Boro wanted £8-10million.

Holgate Saints want a loan with an option to buy for £6million.

Palace back in for Macca, waiting to move on Guaita.

Simeu and another due to go out this week.

Piore number one target, if Adams is sold but RM want's to keep Che.

Similar situation to Sulemana, RM really wants to keep him but needs convincing.

Implication that we think 8-10m is too high for Edwards.

Would be nice if we could get Piroe and keep Che but that sounds impossible

McCarthy seems like he will be off as it doesn’t seem like Guaita is staying

Struggle to see how we think Edwards is too much at £8-£10m on presumably quite cheap wages but are happy to pay £6m and wages for Holgate

Would love some incoming rumours. Still seems properly quiet and we have a lot of work to do

Just seen on Sky that a deal has been agreed with Liverpool for £60m for Lavia. That will teach them

Whats the most a Championship club has made in player sales in one window?

That was only my interpretation. Perhaps the block is more that we still have 4 CBs on the books and one won’t come in until ABK and/or Lyanco goes

Holgate is also a loan with an option that we don’t have to take up. Edwards we would have to pay the full amount

87m for 2016-17 Newcastle seems to be the answer. Mostly from Sissoko, Wijnaldum and Townsend

A comment from the BBC HYS about the JWP transfer.

Comment posted by Danny Doyle, today at 09:15

Just imagine how good his corners are going to be now he can do a 400m run up.

I do find it funny that all football fans assume JWP is good at corners because he is good at free kicks. Little do they know.
