Probably threw his toys out the pram when he wasn't made captain. Should've sold him to United six years ago. Then we would have had the pleasure of watching Dier and Maguire in the same team.
I am still a bit bemused by the Reguilon situation tbh. Never going to be the next Marcelo but by the same token is miles better than Sessegnon, yet was suddenly totally frozen out after a pretty solid season with Jose. Not sure if something happened behind the scenes, but in terms of ability alone he'd be pretty far down my list of who to get rid of.
Somewhere out there, an account impersonating Lilywhite Rose is tweeting that he stormed out of the stadium
Not sure whether the physio list is forcing some of it, but with my scientist cap on, that is a very interesting starting XI.
I'm not expecting great things this season. We will probably lose as many games as we'll win. This is a transitional season in every sense of the word, so as long as we put together some good football for the majority of the time, I'll be happy. COYS.
I've almost said word for word the same in the past. Sometimes even if I don't agree with decisions I can understand the reasoning behind them, with the Reguilon-Sessegnon decision last year I saw absolutely no upside nor understood it and now again with him being scrapped from the squad it's a bit of a head scratcher, he's probably the only natural modern LB we have right now, as Udogie will be converting back from a LWB, Davies is more in the old school FB mould and Sessegnon isn't a footballer.
Ange speaks well when interviewed - which is more than can be said for most of his recent predecessors.
It does have to be said the club are putting a lot of faith in him by releasing behind the scenes videos, such as the one of him announcing Sonny as the captain Couldn't see that happening under Conte, mainly for fear of the likely visual of players looking at their watches waiting for him to stop talking
First time for a long time , we can look at the bench and see some attacking options. Solomon, Perisic, Lo Celso and Porro. I will be watching on mute.
No Dier, No Lloris, No Spence and No Ndombele (but lo Celso on the bench) in the squad tells a story.
