Personally, I don’t think we should be booing any of our team/ coaching staff. I see it as counterproductive.

There were several occasions second half that Covil ran infield from the wing, along the back line, to give Ingram an option. On the fifth time of doing so, Ingram finally kicked it long but nowhere near Covil. Other than that occasion, Ingram never even looked up and Covil eventually gave up.

Credit where it's due, LR and the lads did a lot to right the wrongs of Tuesday.

They did. Rosenior got his tactics spot-on today and the players looked confident in what they were doing which we didn’t see in the previous two games. Even after going a goal down, they didn’t panic or hide away from the ball.

The people who said he had Plan A but no Plan B?

Anyway glad we can all be happy with that and shelve the booing for the foreseeable. :)

We looked pretty mediocre in general until Tufan banged that second in.

We were in complete control the entire duration of the game but our attacking play was very slow and methodical and I commented after the enemy took the lead that it could turn Pete Tong quickly if something didn’t happen soon.

We got a surprise penalty that although deserved in more ways than one we were quite fortunate to get (Greaves would probably disagree with that!). By that I mean we didn’t win the penalty it came about by the defenders poor judgement and loose elbow.

Let’s keep our feet on the ground for now.

Almost as if one game isn't a decent sample. :)

We didn't create many clear cut chances, and to be honest, in that sense it was very much in line with our play in a lot of home games over the last year or so. Obviously the difference here was firstly a penalty and Tufan's screamer, giving is the breakthrough we needed without us creating a big chance, but also our control and dominance of the ball and territory allowed us to just pull them about and tire them out and I'm sure that contributed to the last two goals, in different ways. For all our ideology of possession football I'm not sure we ever mentioned 73% last season.

I think there is clear progress. That game probably ends 1-1 last season. Next step is for us to turn all that early dominance into a goal before we go 1-0 down ourselves. It's also worth noting that for whatever reason and whoever is to blame, we still don't have a proper squad of attackers available. If we're bringing in three more wingers/creative players then they will hopefully help a lot with those final balls and stuff.

I think last season that game ends 2-2.

They gift us the Connolly goal and we let them in for an injury time equaliser. <wah>

Agreed . Sheffield Wednesday are a poor side and are relegation material at the minute . One decent win against a mediocre team does not make a season . Just bring on our next opponents.

-> We looked pretty mediocre in general until Tufan banged that second in.
We were in complete control the entire duration of the game but our attacking play was very slow and methodical

Agree with that. Several have now said similar (as in for example "we had / created few clear cut chances") and that Wednesday were poor. Those are just the facts.
Can't take snippets out (we were in complete control but looked mediocre) as it loses the meaning of what the OP was saying.
A gifted penalty, 2 crackers from Tufan and another gift. Yep, happily take that all season long, same as the 70% possession. But to be contenders we need to be creating more good chances ourselves. And hopefully that comes with these promised exciting signings along with players like Connolly, Traore, Lokilo, Sinik getting settled and match fit.
Cup half full for a change, but still seeing the reality.

Neither does a last minute loss to Norwich, but for some apparently it did.

A gifted penalty? Greaves took a forearm full in the face! I’m shocked it wasn’t a red card.
