i understand and didn't get it but if you look at it this way under kean in the champ we average about 28-30000 where now we averaging between 38-40000, so if you add that extra average to are prem average it's went from 44000 to about 54-60000 thousand
It's just the numbers mate. Unless KLD is genuinely in it for the long haul or he separates the concert finances from the footballing side when he inevitably sells up, then he's on a very narrow profit margin, if there is one at all.
If they reduce ticket prices and SC’s then am sure we would be able get close to it, that’s as long as we’re still playing decent attacking football.
I think it sounds like the club are finally looking at some good long term investment and bringing in some heavy hitting sponsors as they would not be looking at this sort of investment without a good and strong financial reason and that will only really happen if accompanied by success on the field so it all looks very positive to me
Does anyone know much they make per concert? A larger stadium will attract additional events and that coupled with sensible season card pricing will bring in more fans, who will then spend more while in the stadium. If we are going to increase the ground it makes a lot of sense to do it now before the area around it is redeveloped.
