Just need Man United to decide he is who they want to take Fred’s squad place rather than the Moroccan from the World Cup.
If anyone has nothing at all to do I can only imagine the RAWK transfer forum from last night to now is an absolute belting read. All the twists, turns, justifications and then cope. Last page is amusing enough with them now all seemingly convinced he isn’t worth the price and they don’t want him anyway if he prefers Chelsea and this gem: “Brighton will want this saga wrapped up asap, and you can imagine they are feeling really unhappy with Chelsea at the moment for dragging this out. I'm sure Bloom has told Chelsea to pay up or get ****ed because the season starts on today and he has plans for that money.” I think we can substitute Brighton, Chelsea and Bloom for Southampton, Liverpool and Wilcox. Do they really have not sense of self reflection?
Surely they've got to just offer us the £50m straight up now and get it done asap so everyone can move on.
This must be infuriating for Lavia. He has had the "We want you, baby, just you, baby," chat up, seen his would be lover move on to someone else, and here he is again, about to be chatted up again, on the rebound. Ouch.
I have no idea who Sean Casey @caseysean51 is but not convinced that that's anything other than a joke
No, I hope that's not true, as Libby said earlier. That wouldn't be the right thing to do to Lavia. If he told them to **** off and knuckled down for another year, now that would be funny. That, or United coming in for him.
Don't believe it We've made the price clear throughout and I think it would afect our cred if we went higher now Random
£50m is the price, it would be hilarious to raise it just to spite Liverpool but would be detrimental to our model in the longer term, as up until now I think we have balanced 'stepping stone club' with 'not willing to get bent over' quite well but there is a limit as to how far you can go. Now if Liverpool still **** around at £47-48m after this then hopefully Lavia's frustration will be aimed at them rather than Saints.
I know its not entirely a surprise given that its Facebook, but reading the comments on Martin's presser is like going for a refreshing swim next to a Southern Water controlled outlet pipe. 'A real manager would have convinced Prowse to stay another season'.
