Might as well blood some youngsters ready for next season ,, shame to be relegated before even taking my new seat but hoping to see some encouragement for next season hopefully under the reign of Terry Dolan
As PLT say this is a very big game after Tuesday performance and to a lesser extent Norwich, which was poor'ish but not as abject as the Donny game by all accounts. I can see Vaughan being rested, as he has a knock, I hope Lokilo gets a start, Greaves and Jones at the back with Coyle/Vingare. Let's hope for a good performance and 3 points and that will settle nerves down.
* News please, not ancient history. It's as near to a masterpiece as a few paint drips of paint on a canvas is to a Da Vinci. Abridged version, get stuffed and do a Van Gogh. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Sadly, after a lot of trying to make it happen,I'm not gonna make this one...A game that I really wanted to be at. First and foremost,we need a performance and hopefully a win to get things back on track. 1-0 Up The Tigers!! Highpeak Tiger, get yourself there mate,I wish I could Abridged version,TwoWrights owes me a pint and I'm pissed off I'm not getting it this Saturday...
Never realised there were thousands, going by the 20 odd people that post regularly. I might have gone 50 max.
I'll buy you a pint anytime, hope you have better luck with your next bail application. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I'll be praying for a win, but right now all I can see is Wednesday having our pants down in spectacular fashion. It's the second game in and it already feels like we're trying to stop the rot.
I left at half time against Huddersfield last year and after Donnie scored their second against us on Tuesday. I stopped going for several games after Huddersfield, and we started to play better, maybe I'm a Jonah. I don't enjoy expecting us to **** up every minute and been proven right. I cannot cope with a strategy that (for us) is a disaster, giving away goals to **** teams who we then struggle to score against, a strategy I see no benefit or entertainment in. In short, in my opinion, its ****ing stupid. I leave the game in a near psychotic rage and take days to calm down. I stop enjoying it, so stop going. I suspect I am not the only one. I hope City win, never want them to lose but, I've been going for 55 years so I have seen us play **** and am used to losing, but I absolutely cant cope with "Statue Football" or Suicide Ball" or whatever you want to call it..

Drop Vinagre and start with Greaves at left back. The defence looked much better at Norwich when Vinagre went off and the switch was made.
I agree with you and I was one vocally frustrated tuesday, which is unlike me normally I can be patient we play from the back if there's an overall aim. However, I think what PLT means as I'm in the same boat as him is that the game hopefully wont be like tuesday. I know Wednesday will have seen the Norwich/Donny games and know how to set up but I do for once actually expect them to respond differently this time around. There may be moments that feel frustrating but we shouldn't jump on their back at first opportunity. We used to be a fanbase and a crowd that backed them even when the backs where against the wall. Recently it feels like its changed. It is about time we do our bit as well
Coyle needs to start. He’s not the best footballer we have but he does, at the very least, show leadership and desire on the pitch. Something that was very lacking on Tuesday.
Strange thing happened I posted above, and my reply doesn't show. But if I go back in to edit it shows. Hence what I have replied separately. We used to be a fanbase and a crowd that backed them even when the backs where against the wall. Recently it feels like its changed. It is about time we do our bit as well I think sometime we lose sight of the fact that if you only started watching City from say the early 2000, for the most part you have seen success. Many of us who are a bit older are probably more tolerant because we have suffered the hard times
Obviously you've never sat next to Steverico, some guys have all the luck. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I just want us to win, and I'm very conscious that the crowd will play a huge part in that on Saturday. The game won't be decided in the first 5 minutes, but a tone could well be set. Let's say Ingram does struggle to find someone to pass to in those first few minutes. I think it's pretty likely, sadly, that people will go mad at that stage because they're so wound up already going into the game. That will undoubtedly have a big negative impact on our performance at a point when the game is still completely to play for. I don't want that, so I'm trying to ask people to consider how they can instead boost the team's chances by supporting them vocally. Your last sentence is just untrue. This absolutely didn't used to be the norm. We used to laugh at Sunderland for this when they had a terrible home record and a self-fulfilling home support. Our crowd, whilst relatively modest in number, used to be very supportive. I'm not saying it's unique but I am saying that we are definitely hurting our team more than most other crowds do at the moment. We've become like Sunderland were 10 years ago. People need to let go of the confrontation here. Being asked to support your team and help them in a big game really shouldn't be a controversial thing in the slightest.
