Why not chuck a spa ner in tikki takka and keeper gets to throw it out occasionaly?

Surely the distribution counts not how you deliver it.?

It seems too regimented this season.

Liam has to give them space to express themselves. Let the crowd put the pressure of a work ethic on that. But we need to be patient a bit too.

We've brought in 4 so far.
    Possibly 5 incomings.

Let's see where we are at the end of September.

If Liams not in touch with top 10 by end of November then he's probably in trouble.

Expect Wednesday to replicate exactly how Donny played last night. It's not rocket science how to stop City playing.

Having slept on it, I think there's a few positives to taken from last night.

We've got round the issue of fans complaining about us playing out from the back all the time, by not playing it out at all. That's quite clever.

By not tackling anybody, we avoided any injuries ahead of an important league game.

People are saying that the fans shouldn't have got on Ingram's back for standing with the ball at his feet for 10% of the game, but they can't score of the ball isn't even in play. Can they, eh?

And they weren't necessarily getting on his back, screaming 'kick the ****er' was just constructive advice.

And finally, the pain of last nights performance will probably pale into insignificance, once I get the bill from Range Rover.

The theory behind Rosie ball seems to be good , we want to build from the back. We aren’t Man City but then we aren’t playing Man City either.
Rosie wants to invite the press, we all seem clear on that, players included. After the press and if the press doesn’t happen is the issue.
Rosie said he’ll rectify it, this issue with Ingram despite what some on here believe was an issue last season. He often got caught in the healdlights, going forward has been an issue since he took over, pre season was his time to implement the changes in our play. he can’t sort it now before Saturday especially if some of the players have “downed tools” (or as good as).
If he changes, does that look like he’s giving in to player power?
He’s at a tricky crossroads here i think

In the build up to this season I was extremely excited and looking forward to it starting, after a ****e preseason, ****e transfer window so far and ****e 2 first games that excitement has totally gone. I’m fully expected to get beaten by a ****e Sheffield Wednesday team on Saturday, if we concede early or play it around the back for 90% of the game I fully expect the crowd to turn very quickly on rosenior and the team, don’t agree with it but I do. I’ll be there and cheering on the lads but it’s hard to do with the football we produce. We may well have been 9th in the form table during his time here or whatever it was but we were 100% 1st in the table for most boring ****e football produced, it’s painful watching us with rosenior as manager and nothing about it is exciting. I really liked him as a player for us but his arrogance and waffle that he comes out with is backed up by absolutely nothing. Hopefully he turns it around but I can’t see it, I really think we need to get rid and go for someone more experienced to actually get something out of this season. Happy to be proved wrong but not confident in that happening at all.

I can’t imagine the reaction if we fail to beat Wednesday, Rosie might not see the end of August.

I agree, it's not a competition I'm overly fond of myself BUT...If you had watched it, your mood, confusion and anger at what you had witnessed would temper your enthusiasm 1000%.

Last-nights 'performance ' was as poor as it gets and we actually fielded a very strong side. One or two of our regular posters who attended and generally refuse to bad-mouth our performances have came on here and described it as an absolute embarassment, the worst 90 minutes of football they've ever seen etc,etc and are genuinely at a loss to explain where we go from here...

Like I say,I watched it on a device with a small screen and my stomach has sunk to a new low, when those that actually forked out and attended are sitting scratching their heads at a totally abject performance...It's time to start worrying.

Hopefully these players can wipe this abomination from memory and somehow find a performance for Saturday,I'm struggling to see how but I hope they can because another performance like that and another discussion like this will inevitably signal we're in deep **** and managerless!!

If anyone in that dressing room has an ounce of pride, then we'll tear into Towels from minute one on Saturday

Without a doubt. But I think we’ll step it up on Saturday for the league game and get the reaction that is needed. :emoticon-0100-smile
