Wordle 778 5/6* Struggled with that, like others, ended up trying words that didn't exist, suppose I should be relieved to get a 5
Apologies for the late reply Snaggey, F for forgot yesterday enroute to Lake Garda Double bogey today, awful word.
One juicy, Eddie, two Hughies and a juicy, Eddie again before a disappointing but relieving bogey to end the week
Chart for the week, and some good scores again. No fails this week, but (like last week) an F for "forgot" Friday, no one scored higher than a 4, and Sundays word was a bit of a twat. Star of the Week....and it's been a close run thing this week. Again, it goes to Cumbriette with a brilliant score of 20.....almost a clean sweep of birdies, except for an eagle on Tuesday. Superb stuff again. Cumbriette's eagle just edging out @malagamackem into second spot with an excellent 21. So close mate, so close. Honourable mentions @Black Siamese Cat and @Hefty fullback who both scored 23. Also a mention to @Ron....love his running commentary of how he's getting closer to the answer, sometimes over the course of a few hours. Also a mention for @Gordon Armstrong novel way of telling us he got a 3. Some 3's are better than others mind.....Rachel in her nightie being a prime example. Brilliant.
After the last few nights I was confident I had this in 3 but alas it was wrong. But it did leave me with a simple 4
Well that's a bit of a **** way to start the week. I thought I had a 4, came on and wrote my post out, then couldn't understand why my copied image wasn't showing. Went back to re-copy it, only to find the fifth letter was still wrong. 5....a bloody 5.
No yellows in sight. In fact nothing on guess 1. 1 green on guess 2 and so on and so on. Relieved to get a 6. Been a ****e few hours.
2 Birdies are flying over a very damp Cumbria today. Juicey, turned into a hughie, right out of the blue I got my guess right for once to sink a birdie putt. Delighted.
A poxy 5 one juicy two hughies (2nd and 3rd letters) same two same two Hardly any letters left for an easy put
Forgot to mention this week's chart, thanks again Snaggey, tough on Malaga but a great effort, will anybody topple her?
