Clarke was centre back for almost 10 minutes - was more effective than when he was up top.

Doesnt need to be a proven striker but we do need one with senior experience

Absolutely and we need to mix the play up a bit. Easy on the eye but no end product

This was my worry with piss farting shout with an experienced striker. Just needs to get sorted. Can not just let games pass us by like that. Also, why is 09 playing centre half and captain ? Silly. Got whooped most of the game.

We need the midfielders to wake up when he’s making runs. Felt a bit sorry for the kid after the 3rd/4th time. Absolutely no service then we take him off and bring Pritchard in who starts putting ball after ball into the box.

Newly promoted team who’ve done no real transfer business cutting us open time after time again, play like we did that first 70 minutes and well be lucky to finish mid table. Cirkin was outnumbered constantly because O’nien hasn’t got the common sense to go over and Clarke done nothing defensively first half.

Can’t even be arsed to dig out the pelters I got for saying he can’t defend simple balls in behind. If we’re going to play with such a high line and he’s starting every week it’s going to be a disaster.

I understand the ****e hemir is getting because he was poor today but most of the anger around me was directed at him not pressing - surely people aren’t expecting a 6’4 striker who’s built like a brick ****house to press like Stewart. He’ll be knackered after 20 minutes.

Wasn’t a single ball into the box for him to attack, numerous runs in behind that midfielders didn’t bother playing the ball. Just all round poor in the final 3rd on all fronts. Clarke pissing around doing too much every time he had Donacien 1v1, Roberts is being left 1v2/3 at times because nobody is coming across like Diallo used to.

Did anyone else get that feeling in the first half that although we were looking good we never looked like scoring.
Ipswich did look dangerous when they got forward.
Even during the second half where we went back to our usual game (0 strikers) we looked toothless.
We did pick up when we went down to 10 but was it us improving or Ipswich thinking it was won taking it a bit easy.

Whatever happens, we need 4 fit strikers to be able to capitalise when we’re on top.

We went on a great run end of last season with Neil sitting in and Ekwah breaking forward, why has Mowbray switched them?
