Everyone blames the middle-management. Cheap shot and makes it easy for everyone else. Lock the workers, lower management and upper management in a room and they can tell us all how it’s done. 80% of this problem is from 80% of the QPR workforce!! That certainly flies in the face of pareto principles . We never did follow convention.
Hadn't heard of pareto principles before. Thought at first it was that Spanish player we had when we were rich! And yes, the principles do appear to apply to QPR
I don't really understand FFP but I think this season is especially hard because we're at the end of a 3 year cycle. I think next season starts a another cycle so in theory they could gamble again with more extravagant spending on players. Something like that anyway. What state we're in come next season is anyone's guess though.
He's an embarrassment I want a proper manager looking the part not a bloody scruffy biker type, he is so far out of his depth that the RNLI couldn't save him
No, we're constantly in the **** as it's a rolling three year cycle....having sold nobody of any worth since Eze we need to cut our expendature drastically unless someone is willing to pay silly money to Palace and we get a nice slice of sell-on dosh
In that FFP-case we are prisoners of our abilities… That FFP decision is harsh when the club is what we have been for a long time
I was just thinking in the 12 years since Bernie&Flav mugged Fernandes and we got promises of new stadium etc., we have seen the following in London: Brentford, Spurs and Wimbledon have new stadiums West Ham blagged the Olympic Stadium for peanuts Fulham are upgrading CC Palace start upgrading Selhurst Park next year Scum got planning permission for the Bridge before Roman sold up Even Dulwich Hamlet got permission for a new stadium And we are still stuck at HQ with no prospect of any respite from our financially crippling situation... Happy days...
Some of the stuff I’m seeing on social media against Ainsworth is ****ing vile. No problem with showing dissatisfaction, booing, calling for him to be sacked etc but the personal abuse is out of order, imho. We truly have a ****y fan base sometimes.
This is what I hate. I didn't want Ainsworth and don't think he's up to the job but I'm not going to slag him off.
This was on the bedroom wall of the cottage we stayed at recently on PEI. Of course my blinkered eyes saw only "I love QPR"! The owner allowed me to take it if I replaced it with something of similar size. I actually found, likely for most people, a much nicer poppy field scene, rather appropriate as that is present by the entrance road to the cottages.
Absolute ****ers. I don't rate him and I think he's out of his depth, but I quite like him and giving him personal abuse is pathetic.
I was speaking to a Watford fan today who was at the game, standing amongst other Watford fans thinking “what just happened” about the first goal, the big question was did Watford start the game without opposition being ready. I guess the answer is a resounding yes
Mmmm? You’re going to need a bigger boat – Report - Queens Park Rangers News | Loft For Words (fansnetwork.co.uk)
Agreed. I get the gallows humor we all try to partake in to get us through this. But the personal abuse is neanderthal and hateful. I don’t have the time for such loathsome hatred to anyone or anything. I like GA, his different style shows his individuality and non-conformity to not be like the pre-packaged football manager. I like that he tries different things no matter how crazy it might seem. He’s doing it from the right place … his heart. I wish he hadn’t left Wycombe to come here, not because he’s no good or not good enough for us, because I never wanted him to fail with what he was walking into with us. I didn’t want his status as a player with us to end up as a horrible memory for him, or us, to look back on in the future.
