Just replace the old creaky bits with some shiny new ones and carry on.

Hendo, Milner, Bobby and Firmino are the only ones that matter. Keita and Ox never played anyway. Who is the seventh? Phillips? If so, he never played either.
just the 13 PL appearances and the other 2 managed 17 now i can't be arsed to check the mins but it will obviously be well below 90 per appearance but it is still minutes we need players to cover .

I just don't like this X out and only Y in argument. That angle doesn't work when some of those leaving weren't contributing.
It's better to have one that contributes than two or three that don't.

people are using an arbitrary stat based on who another website decides is a senior squad player.

yeah we could buy 3 or 4.
but we are in a league and a europa league there's enough there with some luck to deliver, ESPECIALLY if those forwards work for us.
if/when we are in the cl or at least wanting to do more than 4th then maybe we will buy more.
or of course those u21 could turn into talented seniors that a small bit of patience and klopps touch have developed

Have no idea who these"people" you refer to are but if you think we have enough quality cover in MF and right side of defence i assume you have been at suckys stash again
whoever put that story out, I saw it some place but can't remember where. it was looking at squads on official websites or transfermarkt.
the fact is nobody at lfc really gives a **** about the website in the off-season outside the commercial tour.
irrespective of what I think quality cover is or is not , well we have what we have and need to moderate our expectations accordingly.
there's not a thing wrong with that first 11 if they stay fit. if klopp can make 4 or 5 subs a game and keep the forwards going then our system will be sort of like city's in that the front 3 get mess minutes because there's 5 to rotate so they need to make the most of their minutes.
After that I'm very confident we can ignore the cups bar seeing a few kids see senior competition for a game or 2.
4th and europa league win for me is a great season as things stand.
