The part in bold is a huge understatement.

I've recently gone back to rtg after a few years off.

I've made essentially the same point about the new added time rule on both sites. I accept that my viewpoint is in the minority and plenty will disagree.

On this board, I had a conversation with a couple of posters where we discussed our views. We could see each others perspective but disagreed and that was it, we carried on talking about the game.

Over there I was called "dense", "idiot" and "stupid" within a 10 minute window, and all by posters who's articulation didn't suggest that intelligence was their forte.

The only problem with this board (not a problem as such) is it's lack of traffic. I find that sometimes as an exile I want to converse a lot about the club and football in general, but there's occasionally too few people to discuss fringe topics. But the flip side of that is that there's less disruptive people and the conversations you do have are much better.

I used to look at RTG for years but never sighed up. One of the main reason was, as soon as someone new sighed up they were instantly a "Mag", then had to seemingly prove that they're weren't for weeks on end. Then there would be the what I would call a gang mentally where if an opinion wasn't shared, the buzzards would circle. Absolutely no doubt there's some cracking people on there. But what cemented it for me was the abuse Smug took for passing on information he had been given about the Dell debacle. Each place has its good and bad, but for me, when I signed up on here it was "Welcome", and not "Mag". Rivalry? Not for me, it's like "do you prefer Twitter or Instagram.

I look on RTG, but very rarely post on there anymore, and on the odd occasion I do post, it's on the smb section....normally, if I can help with a question they have asked type of thing.

I find the PF section toxic tbh. There's some decent posters on there, but if you're not part of the "clique" (or a mag)...you've had it.
I came over here in 2019 I think it was. It was when Smug (Reiver over there) got banned during the Dell stuff. I came here to follow the take over stuff, as many others did I think. It was like chalk and cheese.

I've posted stuff on here I wouldn't post over there...personal stuff I mean.
I've said this before, but a forum is only as good as the posters who post on it....and this one wins hands down.

I post on both and they both have some good, knowledgeable posters.

It’s a shame that people feel like they can’t post over there for whatever reason, though.

I would call this place very passionate without the poison of the rtg forum.

Need a proper DM and or have Prichard in the 10. Jobe is a good prospect but he isn't a 10.

I like Ekwah but he isn't a holding. You also lose out on his powerful running. It's a tough call, but someone will have to miss out. Long season like.

This. Ekwah's a box to box player and will be even better if we could play a holding cm to allow him the freedom.
