If Embo can get 70k a week that would truly be a miracle

Craig Hopes ability to only write about Sunderland when he wants to insinuate bad news and ONLY before games live on sky is pretty impressive like

Have to say if we have made money on Lihadji that is some achievement. I suspect the talent is there, but fish out of water springs to mind. No doubt it is 100% up front from Qatar as well, massive thing that as I keep banging on about.

Now where do we go. The Ukrainian lad is my pick, over the lad from Chile. Has a bit more about him for me, based on highlight reels, plus he is more ready for this league in my opinion. Would be a truly exciting signing in my little mind.

Who do we get as challenge/support for Neil. Still a major challenge. I wonder, and I have had a glass or two, could we possibly get Michut back. I thought he was a class act and has the tools to play that 360 degree role. Would be a tragedy if a player like him isnt playing footy this year. I would dance a little dance if he came back permy, loved the lad.

Like the way it says ‘new model’ when it is the same one that was in place long before TM got the job.

To complement what we already have, I would like a striker that plays on the shoulder with pace and finishing. trying to think of when we last had a variety of strikers with different skills, maybe Jones, Bent, Welbeck and Gyan.

If we get the final few jigsaw pieces sorted, we are looking at one of our strongest ever transfer windows.

Just look at the impact Archer had for Boro. Massive threat in behind so stretched the pitch and made the space for Akpom and Ramsey to be effective. Stewart did/does the same job for us, runs the channels and makes space for the ten to dictate the play. No coincidence we get the best from Pritchard when Stewart plays.

Was definitely in place for the whole of the last two seasons, might be argued it was in its infancy the January we signed Stewart.

Being owned by the Israeli state? No better than Saudi ownership imo.

He's good on crosses, but he'll get nailed with Tax (tacks) if he goes there
