Well that was so different and so much better in everyway.
    Top of the league too.
    Until the next time.

Man of the match for me was Ngakia - probably his best game in a Watford shirt. Porteous not too far behind him though.

I doubt very much that we'll have too many more games that easy, but am not complaining.

The feeling on the QPR board is that we weren't that good, they were just awful.

General concensus in the stands here too. Awful side.

I really cannot see too many sides giving us the space they did.

    Very good first half .

Took it easy 2nd and they improved but still had some chances.

Impressive in midfield which surprised me and the Georgian was very lively after coming on.

They were lucky they had Begovic in goal - he kept the score down quite substantially.

I was impressed with what we saw of Chavektadze. Soon after he came on he spun the defender and left him for dead. Seems more than happy to shoot when he has a sight of goal, and could be a good signing, provided that some large fullback doesn't put him into row G.

Bachmann played Goalkeeper, Central Defender and Holding Midfielder

Only one error for Bachmann and Hoedt in the game and without the QPR goalie we could have reached double figure but first game of the season and no other team can be as bad as QPR

We have to build on this and if we improve even more from last season we should b e there or thereabouts

A Watford "supporter????" texted 3CR saying we are at best mid table and Ainsworth will be gone within a couple of weeks

Why support a team if you cannot actually support it

They might be right on both accounts potentially tbh particularly the latter !

You know how fickle fans can be - before the game people were slating the team selected.2

Suspect Plymouth will be much tougher but certainly was very encouraging and will give the team confidence.

    I agree on Chavektadze.

    Impressive cameo.

    Thanks .

Not much in the way of highlights but better than waiting for the ITV show has had 2 games , 3 advert breaks and loads of interviews in 45 minute

The home shirt seems pretty robust.

Even if they were terrible, you've got to put them away.

You pay £35 for a ticket in the away end, then you leave before half-time.

Is this the new badge of honour that gives you the right to say whatever comes into your head? It seems to me to be a bit like going to Spain or somewhere similar, and because the sun isn't shining when you arrive, you leave, and don't wait to see if the clouds blow away.
