Well today marks 12 months without drinking a drop of juice, fizzy drinks or any alcohol. Eight months without eating bread, pasta, cake or anything sweet. Sugar has been eliminated, as has caffeine and a mostly plant based diet. The change in my body has been fantastic, I feel great, I have lost loads of weight and my way of thinking is very positive. No alcohol, eating extremely healthily and above all, a couple of hours of exercise daily!
I don't know whose status this is, but I was so ****ing happy for them, I copied and pasted it.

Joking aside it's a very good thing to do, writing when your brain has lots to say. One bit of advise I was given, write a draft email about your thoughts, but never send it until the next day, to see if you still feel the same - it's a good way of taking stock of your emotions.

My wife does these "morning pages"

Writing her thoughts down in the morning to help organise her thoughts and emotions. She's finds it really useful to organise herself and helps her understand what she's thinking and calms get down

I do that with most of my posts on here during a heated exchange, write the original draft, read it, think about it and then rewrite and send it

Trouble with that is I dont always notice where the Apple auto correct has rewritten my rewrite

I remember the brown paper payslips, also those old pound notes, loved those old notes and they were worth a lot more back then. I don't really remember the coins so much because of decimilisation in the late 60's to early 70's, I think I can see a threepenny bit there (the lowest coin in pic), but my eyes are struggling, it should be 12 sided if it is. I always remember sixpences (tiny silver coin) because it was custom to put them in Christmas puddings, and a penny back then were large coins, unlike todays tiny little things.

The bronze one partly hidden is an old half penny, pennies were much bigger, about the size of a 2p now, there is a threepenny bit too you're right brb. I think the bigger silver coins(florins) were 10shilling and the smaller one 5 shilling and of course the tanner
