Tried keeping calm about the whole situation, telling myself that whatever happens NP did a great job sorting the squad out. But, having seen those pictures on the LCFC website.... YOU ****ING MONEY GRABBING BORING DISLOYAL **** PEARSON KEEP YOUR ****ING MONEY MAGNET HANDS OFF OUR PLAYERS YOU ****ING TOSSER. He still did a great job here, but its gonna be overshadowed by the way he dropped everything and was gone before that Thai ladyboy put the phone down. Barmby Army, Barmby Army, Barmby Army!!
not anymore. NP has left a bad smell in the way he left NOT the fact he left. NB is the man to take this group forward. NP can battle with Southampton for expensive mercenaries on offer in Jan. Then again NP has enough in his LC squad now. Thanks for what you did NP and good luck. You will need it. NP your P45 clock is now ticking. PL or the sack.
not sure about that but his clock is deffo now ticking. starting with a home game sunday with C.Palace wont be easy then an away trip to Pompey and a home game with Blackpool. Not the best of starts is it. LC are already 4 defeats and 2 wins in the last 6 games. I can see a mixed bag of results with those 3 games and thats before his next game back @ hull city. Pressure what pressure ? NP is soon to find out. Those hire and fire merchants wont take losing easy and NP could well find there hot breath down his neck sooner rather than later. Its gonna be fun watching this.
I see he has already started his excuse of it's a tough division and some players will be unhappy etc etc
well when you look at lesta's squad they are split into 3 groups. group 1 = the players who were there when NP last managed the foxes. group 2 = the money mercenaries who could not careless who is manager Just as long as they get there big wages group 3 = the egos's / sven lovers who will hate NP being in charge. i wonder how many Bullard-esk egos he has there ? time to find out.
Agree with the 3 groups assessment, will be interesting to see how many from group 1 he will favor in his first few games in charge as he does like his comfort players that's for sure!!
very true. thats why it shall be fun watching from afar. his first game on sunday - home to palace will be interesting. palace have taken chris martin-striker on loan today from norwich city.
I was one of Pearsons biggest supporters on here right from the start and his departure really left a bitter taste in my mouth. He did a great job for us when all is said and done and has left us with a great team for the next manager to shape. I still admire him for not wanting to play the media game and his attitude to Blundersides bungler Burns was spot on but he could have got us promoted and reaped the rewards for that, so in a way I hope he fails at Leicester, and think that he probably will. Reminds me of when Taylor left for Palace, the grass doesnt always turn out to be greener does it even if your pockets are laden with gold.
I honestly think people are well wide of the mark on the money issue. Yes it helped sway his decision but it really wasnt the be all and end all.
