    My big concern is the mentality of the squad. I just don’t see a group of winners that will be able to grind out wins in the slog of a season.

    Last year they proved they were a bunch of melts and we haven’t really done anything down the spine of the team to change that.

    Having said that, my heart says we will win the league.

    Head says 10th-14th (unless we make some decent signings).

    I just want to see some saints goals & victories to be honest. Feels like forever since we won back to back games

    It's saints media day today.....JWP and lavia are all smiles....Aribo & Djenepo as well....One thing about all these boys is that they haven't made a fuss all summer abour wanting to leave after relegation and have carried themselves well....and those who have a higher chance to leave saints are preparing to play Championship football giving it their all

    He’s only 9 and hasn’t caught the disease yet, am worried he just won’t enjoy it and lose interest.

    I used to know all Saints players on sight, but have lost touch because of all the behind the sofa days. Will have to start paying attention again. Be helpful if they could wear badges on front if their shirts. :)

    My nipper's first game March '94 vs Arsenal, Ian Wright hat trick in a 0-4 drubbing. He was most impressed by the pre match giant sausage hot dog and never became a committed fan.
