    Just came back from a midweek match at Croft Park, if part-timers with jobs can manage to play two games in a week I can't see why fully-fit professionals on thousands a week and no other distractions can't. <doh>

    This worries me that these guys are meant to be governing world football, how can they even suggest such stupid, selfish, ignorant suggestions!

    In what way would this work, is he really that out of touch that he thinks, everyone will be like omg what a genuis why haven't we thought of that before!

    real is spanish for royal and the king of spain used to go to a lot of there matches if i remember rightly. and might have even helped out financially at some point.

    Champions League - Cut the league format to proper knockouts. 2 Matches per round home and away = less games for most apart from those who go on and win.

    Then we will get good games each week rather than this going away shutting up shop in the hope of getting a point!

    Oh wait, Barcelona wont like that cause a) theres a possibility they may not progress and b) they want the increased revenue from playing more games in the Champions league because the spanish league is ****.

    No thanks, we'll keep our league the way it is. If it was cut 18, I wouldn't have a problem. But the idea would be to cut the number of games, not replace them with more lucrative ones.

    I can't see SKY allowing this to happen as it would mean them screening less games from the Premiership/La Liga/Champions league.
