As an occasional reader and poster, always respected Kempton’s point-of-view on City and other stuff..he always came across as a throughly decent guy…very sad news. Rest in peace mate.
Very sad to read this. Came across as a decent human who had a passion for city. I liked reading his posts and only checked the other day for an update on his recent work issues. RIP fella
Not sure how I have missed this.... Like many I never spoke to him other than the exchanges on here. What sad news. RIP 'Kemps' and condolences to the family. Willing to contribute to something meaningful in his memory.
With this very sad loss it has brought home to me how much I love this forum warts n all.. and the number of respectful posts for Kempton show the same. Keep following the site Kempton it’s never dull.
I'm so sorry and absolutely gutted that I've only just seen this. Kemps was a bloody good poster on here, we had some good banter on here. He was also a very supportive poster on the mental health thread. RIP Kemps (Rich) condolences to all your family and friends. You will be sadly missed sir.
I’ve only just seen this, this has shocked me. He was one of the best posters on the site, a seemingly eternally happy guy and an absolute gent who’s posts were always good natured worthwhile and usually packed with his great quality humour. I’m absolutely gutted. So sorry to his close friends and family. RIP Kemps If there will be a charity to donate to in his name for his funeral I would like to contribute.
Just seen this, while I didn't know the lad personally he was a valued member of the City family on here, RIP Rich, and condolences to his family, very sad
Just seen this awful news . About the same age as me so it makes you look at your own mortality . So sad that another Tiger who has seen the big ups and downs of our club has now gone .
I've been told Rich isn't having a funeral as such but a small memorial for only close family today. I'm sad people haven't had the chance to pay their respects, but I guess it's the family prerogative.
RIP Rich this board will be a poorer place without your presence and humour. I must have missed this thread while I was away but I can't quite believe it now I'm reading it.
Thanks for letting us know. He was a good man, and I’m sure his family gave him a good send off in the way that felt right for them. RIP Rich
