I was thinking the same. Other side of coin is if we were trying to get rid
    Of Bamford We Can’t
    Now

What is the point of Bamford, how do you do your hamstring in a low intensity preseason friendly? And beginning to think Rutter is the new Bamford.

TBH I was looking for some of our players usual mistakes and Struijk was awful last year. There was one occasion in the first half where he got attracted to the ball on the half way line. It wasn’t his to go for. He left his position, didn't get the ball, didn't foul the man and left a huge hole down our right channel which a better side than Hearts would have exploited fully. They ended up with a corner.

At that moment I just thought I'd seen this mistake a few times from him and he STILL hasn't learnt.

Same with Meslier with a decent stop but pushed it out in to the middle of the box again. It's just repetitive mistakes.

Ayling with that weird cross field hack to nobody in particular which really screwed our defensive shape and put us under pressure.

All three had decent games but they all had that brain fart that I've seen literally hundreds of times before from them. I'm sick of losing games we shouldn't lose due to stupid individual errors.

    Ship em out!

Players that don't make mistakes like those aren't at clubs like us mate I bet all but a couple of teams don't have those players, it's just we obviously notice ours more

You know the issue with Bamford any more isn’t about whether he can finish or not. It’s his fitness. He doesn’t play any more than forShaw did. We need to sign a fit striker

Agree with Farke's assessment that we should really have scored at least one more goal but in the end the clean sheet is good for morale and it's important that the team achieved that.

Of the two injuries I'm hopeful that Rutter will be fit for next Sunday, firstly it didn't seem too bad and also I'm very much liking what I'm seeing from young Georgie.

Yeah, I get that. I've not really banged on about Dan James when he let the balll go under his foot in the first half. Everybody is human, everybody makes mistakes. That can happen to anyone.

The ones I pointed out originally are pretty easy to remedy but this lot have played under multiple coaches and one of them must have told them not to do this **** yet they persist.

The good news is that we have time to work on solutions.

Think Joffy may get another week with the team due to injuries but expecting him being sold as FARKE obviously doesn’t see him as a 9 or a 10

Was saying to Jammy Jnr that we'll still make defensive mistakes that lead to concessions but over the course of the season we won't concede any more than the other teams near the top. That in itself will help improve every defender at the club because being the worst side defensively for the last 2 seasons in the PL was so damaging mentally which lead to some horrendous decision making and made everyone play like a rabbit in the headlights.

Nobody in their right mind would take Bamford due to his salary, fitness, injuries and he's not prolific enough. Apart from that, he's great...

You missed it but we won with decent performances from just about everybody.

Only pre season but much better than the alternative.

Wake up. His careers over and has been for quite a while. Our goals in last two games a defensive cock from forest and an oh today. It’s awful and if we’re pinning our hopes on barn door it’ll be a pitiful season

It was decent. Thought even James was good but Hearts were atrocious too

We're stuck with him though so may as well get behind him don't you think ?

Oh I know much better to just slag him off until he gets the Samaritans on speed dial.

Nothing to do with that. Get behind him how. He’ll be on treatment table till at least Xmas so you can dream all you like about him firing us somewhere. It’s a fantasy Jammy. I know we’re stuck with him but he cannot play anymore no matter how much you wish it

I'd say it was the ideal confidence booster ahead of the season starting next week <ok>
