Very impressive for pre season. Ekwah and Neil control so much of the game for us it is tremendous to watch. Bellingham looks to have a great awareness of them already. Clarke looks tremendous again and some cracking signs for Hemir. If we have Hume and Cirkin all season we will be really well balanced as well.
How can that be described as 'reasonably positive' ffs ... ... no injuries, everyone looking motivated and beating a very good side I think might win the game.
I think I saw Mowbray say that the plan was for this friendly and the midweek one to be 90 mins for the players again. So I'd imagine this is the planned starting XI for next week. And the team that play against Hartlepool will play the league cup game in the next midweek
I agree Batth would be above O'Nien in my team but its one goal in one pre-season friendly. Let's not pretend that's him done forever.
Yeh same for me - perfect sub. But one would assume, unless Batth has a little knock or is managing something, that O'Nien is above him in Mowbray's thinking right now.
