Tom Cairney is best friends with Corey Evans. I know that. So I think that would be the only thing going in our favour. He is on mega money at Fulham.

Tom Cairney would be an amazing signing, but are we overloaded in the middle of the park? Appreciate Evans and Matete are injured, but Ekwah, Neil, Jobe, Embo, Pritch, Dack & Rigg are plenty options for 2 x Cm and 1 x CAM

If this is right are we loading our midfield with goals to cope like we did last season without a recognised no 9 and take the weight off Samaedo.
Just a thought if we're struggling to sign a recognised striker who isn't a young kid.

Embo n pritch likely to be away. We def need another player who can play CDM, cairney can play that but he could also play in a 3 with Neil n ekwah

Need different options n Cairney is probably better than all our midfielders

Hope Embo stays. Not seen any links to him leaving

Im not fussed if he leaves tbh, theres talent there but i think theres quite a few ahead of him now so think its probably the right time for him to leave

We will need to be ruthless at times so could see him leaving if theres an offer

Think prehab said there were offers for pritch n embleton

Cairney has played deeper for Fulham for last few years, hasn’t been a 10 for ages

Question for me with every player is are they someone we think we can take to the premier league with us and do a job. That’s Embleton out the door as far as I can see. May make himself a good career in championship but certainly not set it alight.

Embo is bang average imo. Everyone gets a semi on because he can take corners with both feet and hits the odd raker. Other than that he offers nothing.

    This.

There is nobody in the squad at the moment who I can't see doing a decent job at this level and that's an excellent position to be in.

So the question has to be, who definitely can't make it in the next level up. Pritch and Embo could both potentially fit into that category, which is a shame because I like them both.

Personally I think it’s brilliant the club aren’t settling for what we have and are looking ahead. It’s evident from last season we have too many stragglers and they’re addressing that, this season will be huge for us and I genuinely think they’re making the right signings for us to push on.

This, sometimes it’s obviously not true. Not saying the lad hasn’t posted in good faith but if you look at what it would take to happen , there’s no chance.

    I'm in agreement.

On one hand it would push the younger lads, and on the other stop them from getting more gam time.

A winger and a Stewart replacement is more important.
