watched The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad on film 4 today.
Ray Harryhausen monsters, Tom Baker as the baddie and Caroline Monro...

I wonder why they don't do some more Sinbad film? Action and adventure, mythical monsters with some magic and hot girls and I reckon you've got a winner.

They've tried through various modern day series... and largely flopped.

I think CGI just doesn't do it justice like the way stop animation did back in the day and probably was the appeal back then.

Like with Clash of the Titans. The original far superior to the ****e remake.

Another thing of its time and shouldn't be revisited I'd say.

Hollyweird is too reliant on CGI these days, thats why most films look like **** nowadays. A little bit now and the is ok but having whole scenes filmed in front of a green screen is bollox.

Yeh it's just lost its appeal for me especially sci-fi and fantasy stuff. It's just about ok when used in war films etc but otherwise it's just ****.

It must be **** being an actor in front of one as well.

Was just playing the no explosions and too much dialogue for me to understand card.

Very little explosions tho which was a bit disappointing
