He definitely lacks that special gift that some managers have in making you want to listen to them. In fact he kinda has the opposite effect for me, feels like everything he does and says is from a football managers manual. But perhaps that's good enough for us, he is for sure hungry and I bet works incredibly hard so I think he's a better bet than most other options at this stage and deserves a full crack having got rid of who he's not happy with (he would say nobody), but there will be some, and brought in some of his own players to suit his style.

I actually think he puts very little info across in a media friendly way ( which means bullshit) very well . Which is kinda the job

Yeh but thats about the content. Im talking about his presence and aura to get all spiritual ha, his interviews are consistent with what I saw in the player meeting video and some of the training ground interactions.

I agree, he's not easy to listen to. I'm not sure if he's trying too hard but he's just annoying at the moment. Still, I dont have to listen to him but the players do... hopefully they arent fed up with him like we are <laugh>

He says our performance was crap and then starts praising Vinagre, Lokilo, Tufan, Vaughan, Coyle.

    I don't get it.

Breaking News: Individuals can play well but the team as whole can play poorly. Especially when all of those players only played 45 mins

    More at 8am

Performance wise he only praised Tufan and Vaughan which is fair as they were by far our best players. The others he just expressed his delight that they were on the pitch

I think Rosenior is bloody good at interviews, and it's mental that he's now being roasted on that particular front as well as everything else. I think some people's problem is they're not open to hearing anything he's got to say. You've been angry for ages and you're choosing to interpret the worst from every word he speaks.

It's really becoming a bizarre situation, the disparity between the job he's doing and the stick he's getting. I worry that the biggest obstacle to him being successful here is that too many fans just aren't prepared to get behind him or his team for whatever reason.

Too many seem to get behind him no matter what and shoot down anyone who questions him.

He talks a good game yeah, but until something happens on the pitch alongside that “talk” I’ll wait to be convinced.

Probably because Vinagre and Lokilo is their first proper runout, Coyle played out of position coming back from injury and Tufan and Coyle were actually decent?

And it was less praise than exemption from criticism in the context of the piece of audio.

He was there and you weren't, so why are you scoffing?

Honestly I had you down as sensible but he had the 4th best defensive record and 9th best form in the league since he took over, and that's a turnaround from conceding 2+ before half time.

No manager is perfect. Stop micro analysing the poor bugger and try to see what he's trying to do.

And just judge recruitment a decent few games after deadline day.

I agree he is always good to listen to IMO, at the end of the day he is replying to a question being asked by the interviewer. In this Scunny one, the interviewer kept asking the same question but worded slightly differently, which did get a bit repetitive, but that was not Liam's fault.

I think much like Shota, the first two months of the season will be do or die for Rosenior. Unlike Shota he has a reasonably settled squad so I'm hoping that helps us get going in a positive manner, but if there's 5 or 6 draws, 2 or 3 losses and only a handful of wins, it might be troubling times.
