It would be a bit risky to play any of the lads who played 70 mins on Saturday for the 90 yesterday, so I'd assume it'll be the lads who played the final 20.

I think it's pretty likely too that the team that played on Saturday is the team we'll see against Norwich (apart from Vinagre for Fleming). I don't think there's too much debate either, Adama is a little behind so you wouldn't want to start him and Lokilo hasn't had much of a pre-season either.

 

You might be right about not doing 70 and then 90 within 3 days, and yeah the 11 who started on Saturday probably isn't far off the first 11 as it stands. Not sure I can see Oscar and Tetteh both not starting though. Vinagre, Lokilo and Traore will presumably depend on how many minutes we can get into them between now and Norwich, so these last two friendlies should make things a bit clearer.

 

After last season, I can't see them taking any risks, especially on Adama. I don't think he should start against Norwich either and I'm pretty certain Allahyar will start on the right too. Probably ideally with Vinagre, we'd sign Cox and then only give Vinagre an hour against Norwich.

Oscar and Tetteh are really interesting. If/once we bring in the extra attackers we want, even with a bench of 9, there isn't room for them both. It's no coincidence that we played our best football last season with technical players up front and Delap and Connolly are very much in that mould.

I suspect we will see players needing minutes and fringe players this evening and close to a Norwich starting line up against Nantes.
