One way of getting the links is to Google eg Lavia Liverpool. The results will bring up all the current chatter with a row dedicated to Twitter followed by all the news links. Or if you use YouTube, there are lots of fan channels with all the latest rumours.
Well, yes - I've done that, but my point is that little or none of it is trustworthy. Like I said, anyone can write anything on social media, journalists write rubbish because that's what they get paid for, and agents are constantly touting for business because they're parasites and that's how they make themselves rich. This is my view. Fans read something and it sets them thinking "what if..." - they then become emotionally invested in something that is more than likely a complete fabrication then take umbrage when it doesn't happen. I never trust anything until it's a done deal.
Sorry, I misunderstood. I responded with where I get the rumours from that I post because I thought that you were genuinely interested. It was more a rhetorical question?
I see them in various places, only tend to report (on here) the ones I see multiple times. Never pay real attention to them though, just something to share on here. I wait for the lean...
I did post a lot of links for Mbappe and Bellingham but that was because I found it funny when people reacted. We were never signing either, we all knew that, but someone would inevitable do the "ridiculous link, no way we're signing ..." post
That's ok - I can see how my post read like a genuine enquiry. In a way it was, I wondered if anyone did have more reliable sources than the ones I'd looked at, but I didn't really expect so. Tbh, I usually only look at this thread because if there was genuine news it would probably be here first, but all the wild speculation seems a bit pointless. It's something to do when there's no footie on I suppose.
I think in terms of links there are obv a few more reputable journalists rather than the odd link on some random foreign website that no one’s heard of. Most of it is obviously just rumour and speculation but then that’s what this thread is. A place to discuss the transfer rumours. I think when 2 or 3 of regular names start reporting the same thing it obviously has a bit more legs but I think until you start hearing fees agreed and medicals being booked then take eveythhig with pinch of salt.
When we eventually sign players, you can look back and see which source first broke the news. That tells you which is the most reliable source and currently it's David Ornstein.
Fabinho transfer to Al-Ittihad in jeopardy. Talks ongoing + all parties committed to deal. But there is a delay & 29yo to resume #LFC training on Weds, unless breakthrough made beforehand. Absolutely nothing to do with his dogs @TheAthleticFC #Alittihad https://t.co/NSORxqEaph
Its about how the money is paid. Until thats sorted he is in limbo. As of now he is absolutely useless to us as he's missed the key preseason camp and would have to start from scratch. we might as well start with lavia as him so it does look to me like we are trying to force them to get on with it.
I don't mind too much if Fab stays because he can be the experienced head to guide Lavia. But missing out on 40m for Fab is a huge loss because we won't get that again.
It was mentioned before the dog smoke screen came up https://www.empireofthekop.com/2023...face level, a missing, dog breeds in a country. No proof the funds actually exist. the blood money needs to be extracted out of the wealth of a sovereign nation and laundered before being put in an account to looks like its clean money to go to us.
I liked journalists to agents; don't trust any of them! Just wait and see. Even the "trusted" journalists will spin a line on the clubs behalf occasionally so not everything they say can be be trusted either.
I bet John Henry just lit himself a cigar - thought he was going to have to spend some money for a moment then.
