    That is brilliant, RIP Tony and Amy, how I wish she was still here as she had a voice which I am sure would have got better with age and experience.

    There are some players who, when you seem them live and up close, are just a level above anybody else on the pitch. Trevor Francis was one of the few I've seen in that class, others would be Cruyff, Hoddle and Tony Currie. And Simon Trevitt of course.

    From the first time I head Mandinka she’s been one of the most distinctive voices of my lifetime.

    Passionate and angry with the vocabulary of a docker, but the voice of an angel. I know she’s not to everyone’s taste, but you couldn’t question her talent or her bravery.

    I hope she finds more peace wherever she’s gone to than she found here. RIP.

    Sinead O'Connor has died aged 56, according to Irish media.

    The singer was best known for her 1990 song Nothing Compares 2 U - the track made her a global star, partly due to its iconic video.

    She also released 10 studio albums.
