The two goals conceded were very much preseason types to concede. Half-arsed defending, that in a real game would be far less likely happen. I think both times the CB (Bednarek then DCC) tried to bring it under control rather than just head it back up field.
DCC was atrocious when he came on. Even in a preseason game with acres of space, his passing is embarrassing tbh. Seen better players on a Sat/Sun league
Crazy really that he looks bad against this level of opposition, considering the career he had before joining us.
If I remember rightly he has only just got over an injury and is bound to be rusty. On the other hand he was one of Ralphs men and may be feeling unwanted? If he is on the exit list he may not feel ready to give his all, as a professional player that shouldn't happen, but it does.
Was bang average all season and has an attitude problem. Don't think he was one of Ralph's men either really, as Ralph hardly played him at the start of the season.
Certainly wouldn't be on my starting list, was done for pace and lack of awareness about what was around him, left Baz unprotected.
Just reading a bit about Choudhury, as have always been quitetly impressed with him at Leicester, albeit not having seen much of him. Was o loan at Watford last season and seemed to have been a key cog there: https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/h...tting-on-away-from-leicester-city-at-watford/ Fee to buy was around £6m but Watford are skint so only thing I'd read into that is we'd be looking at lower than that unless Leicester don't want to sell to us, which would be understandable.
I’ve always been a fan. He’s a proper old-school ball winner and a hardworking pro. I think he’s fun and he’s probably an element we’re missing in any configuration of our midfield, regardless of who leaves or stays. He runs about a lot and hits very hard. Looks great in highlights with all his lunging tackles and shoulder to shoulder pressures. Normally I’d be averse to anyone we’ve been linked with under successive DoFs but this one has always been a personal favourite.
