Confirmed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66243301 Wolves have re-signed Republic of Ireland full-back Matt Doherty on a three-year contract
John White died on this day in 1964 , I can only vaguely remember seeing him play and my memory is black and white , my dad said he was the best player for Tottenham that he had seen
I never saw him play, but my uncle, a lifelong Spurs fan and the reason I am, said the same. Known as The Ghost, which became horrifically prophetic!
That has brought back sad memories. I remember how shocked & saddened we all were. I had friends who played on that golf course & were quite traumatised. I don't think anyone ever sheltered under a tree again during a storm! He was a wonderful player, nicknamed 'the ghost' for his expert skills on the pitch. A great loss. RIP John. x
Tom Carroll has joined Exeter on a free, having taken a year out of football after being released by Ipswich in June 2022
I was a member at Crews Hill for a few years, Maggie and was always expecting to be struck down by a thunderbolt from the golfing gods for desecrating their beautiful game!!!
Interesting...I think a few thought that their friendship had waned - and that was somehow linked to Deles descent. Obviously not.
He's getting closer. Monterrey is only a 12 and a half hour flight away! Obviously wants to play for Vincent Janssen's teams. Next up is Antwerp. Monterrey's stadium does look fantastic, to be fair. Some great photos of it. please log in to view this image The Cerro de la Silla in the background just looks unreal.
