I could just as easily say the same about you tbh

Your only defence of the Tories is 'they're no worse than anyone else' whereas I'd say there's been decent Tory governments with people attempting to be fair.

This lot are so bad I'd think the Green Party would be better ...

... less dishonest, less self serving and less arrogant.

I can’t remember having a defence for the Tories, but I agree with you about the Green Party.

The ideologically captured have convinced themselves that if you're not screaming about the tories in every single post, you are one.

You come across as being a disillusioned Tory voter and Boris apologist tbh ...

... excuse me if I'm wrong, I can only go on how you come across on here.

I've seen you defend the Tories but never once anything to do with Labour ...

... correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd never vote for the Torys, but I couldn't defend Labour, either, Smug :emoticon-0145-shake
The Cons have made an arse of their tenancy, but I'd expect Labour to be worse . . . . Starmer doesn't seem to have anything at all (Cameron & Major had no personality, but even they had something about them), and they don't seem to have anybody better :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I would imagine any PM gets police escorts and chauffeurs to be honest. No doubt armoured cars too, hardly a perk of the job I would say.

Starmer has been criticised for his use of chauffers when in his DPP role. Cant remember the figures but they werent small. He was criticised for first class travel and Reeves recently tried to delete a tweet because if showed her in first class on a plane.

I dont care if they have the money to do all this, or their role necessitates it. I used to travel a lot for work and it was business class because it allowed you to work and be fresh when you arrived. These people are far more important than I ever was, let them travel however best allows them to do their job I say, without it being a stick to beat them with.

I dont know about worse, but I dont see anything from them to suggest they would be better. They have threatened a couple of decent policies but then gone back on them. They come across as a party stuck between trying to prove to everyone they can be trusted again, but not having any real ideas in how to earn that trust. The tories have given them open goal after open goal and they are likely to get in because of that. What we will get from them is unclear at best, but I have no faith in Starmer I am afraid. I see only a vote for the Lib Dems at them moment for me.

    Re
    You're missing my point ...

... which is that this is all Sunak's primary concern.

Other, more principled people, would consider it all flim flam and a distraction from the task of caring for the electorate ...

... not just people like them, but everyone.

Exactly. Every second of a PM's day is important, but the ideologically captured
want them wasting a chunk of it on the tube every day. For the side that claims to care about people it's nothing but jealousy, spite and hatred dripping from every pore.

It'll be all about perceived revenge and punishment when they get in.

I have, quite often and in the last few days.

I've never defended Corbyn, not once.

It's only easy if you deflect and ignore the facts.

    You haven't.

You've only ever said all politicians are as bad as each other when Tories have been criticised.

Surely Bonko hasn't the nerve to tell someone else to resign after all his shenanigans?

As concise a definition of BorisJohnson as I have seen. Should be put in a dictionary.
