What kind of player does Vaughan see himself as? He’s played on the wing for us but he doesn’t particularly look like a winger to me, he always looks like he wants to be central.

I've seen all the pre-season games so far and apart from the 1st half against Barnsley, Jarvis has done very little.

Vaughan's made an impact in all the games he's played for us. He's not perfect and not the finished product but there's so much to like about someone who's not 20 till April.

A quick player who can dribble and beat a man. I think he’s suited to playing on the left, although will often cut inside. Could form a good partnership with an overlapping fullback like Vinagre

He'll play more centrally once he gets older but if we don't get a no.10 we'll probably see a fair bit of him there this year

This would make sense of the highly rated premier league winger

What's he done this pre season?

Nobody mentioned him before the Barnsley game.

You're so desperate for him to break into the first team that it's altering what he's actually done.

Movement is top class, showed that non stop against Hatayspor. Where his goal came from.

Breezes past players has done that in every game, predatory instincts shown in every game. Wrongly disallowed goal stopping him being our top scorer in pre season.

You’re saying he’s done very little which is horseshit.

I’m not desperate for him to breakthrough, I think he’s earnt a shot based on pre season. You’re making up ****e about his performances because you disagree.

This team scores **** all goals, and we have a natural goal scorer in the ranks, with lightning pace, good dribbling ability and I believe he’s worth a shot. I don’t disagree a loan would be a bad move for him but as far as I’m concerned the “fresh slate” Rosenior has given everyone, should have him well up the pecking order based on pre season, as Allahyar and Longman have both flattered to deceive, picking up exactly where they left off at the end of the season.

He's okay going forwards, he's definitely got an eye for a goal but defensively and physically he's a mile off where he needs to be to play in the Championship. It's pre-season, I expect the youngsters and fringe players to flourish, they've got a point to prove when the rest are going through the motions and just getting minutes.

Thinking back to 12 months ago, Covil was better and significantly more first team ready than Jarvis is now.

    Covil is better than jarvis
    In pretty much everyway

Jarvis is nowhere near good enough for championship
    If jarvis plays league 2
    Id be surprised

    Newcastle must be his relative

    You’re just waffling now

You sat and watched the Barnsley game and have gone on to question his physicality afterwards…

Put Allahyar’s pace in Vaughan and then we’re talking!

Allahyar needs to improve his decision making and final ball but I’m sure Rosenior will relish working with him.

Vaughan is obviously technically brilliant, reads the game well and has a good engine, although not pace and will probably end up centrally eventually.

We all know that Longman will leave and end up playing at a level above and we will wonder why he was s**t for us. (Although he hasn’t been in patches)
