This can be amalgamated into the match day thread when that appears but I notice we've sold all our allocation. I think that was 2100! Optimism or abject stupidity? I decided to go as likely can't make the first home game.
I was blessed to get a ticket. I go to very few away games and therefore my loyalty points were only 471. A buddy with over a thousand loyalty points didn't get a look in before they were all sold. I had the flight booked before they announced the change. I had to change the return flight from Heathrow to a later flight. That cost me 40 euros so not so bad. I would summarise it as abject stupidity by very Loyal supporters especially as at the moment our current squad will not survive in this division.
Forgot to get a ticket yesterday but apparently they’ve held a few back for this morning. Worst way I’ll get one in the corner next to the away end. Should be a nice day before the grim reality of the season kicks in. Edit. Scrap that they’ve sold out.
Got tickets for Oxford and Watford - expectations are low for both which is probably the right approach.
