How can anyone predict where we will finish this season now? There is still a huge amount of transfer window time available, and if the takeover goes through, absolutley nobody knows if we will be paying for players or our usual pickings from the halt and the lame. Or somewhere in between.

Having said that, I'll feel daft if we end up in 8th now <laugh>

    All part of the fun.

Relative excitement in July, followed by bullish <laugh> predictions.

August brings the dawning of reality, before our usual October collapse.

I think it’s fair to say that nobody (well apart from the terminally gullible) think that our new billionaire owners will be spending much of their billions on us.

If they were going to do that they would have bought The Valley

As long as it’s an improved budget than skintgaard had I’m willing to give them a chance and accept that these “billionaires “ are here to improve the club rather than strip the none existent assets <cheers>

Only time will tell, but I’m far from convinced that we will see much of an improvement in our fortunes. Having said that I’ll happily accept a competitive team that is at least trying to gain promotion backed by the owners reasonable efforts.

Whatever squad we end up with, I believe Dean Holden will get the best out of them. It's an awfully long time since we had good owners, and it was the genius of Curbs that made us such a good team, not Richard Murray, who showed what a twit he is as soon as Curbs left.

I heard Edun was on big money (or at least a lot more than we've been paying).

Is CAFC upping its wage structure?

It's been good news & more good news on the signings front for a few weeks.
Now will there be some less welcome news about departures?

And have we really replaced Rak-Sakyi yet? I know there is still time to gat loanees in.

I have no idea if any of these signings will be any good for us, but it’s nice to be signing players before the season starts.

    Call me entitled but
